We partnered with Invisible Collective, Martian Blueberry, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum to create Undeniable, MLB’s first-ever animated series.
From the outset, without much archival footage from this era, the team worked together to ensure every detail was historically accurate while developing a visual language that’s relatable to the viewer. These three animated shorts honored the underrepresented stories and legacy of the Negro Leagues and shined a light on their impact on the game and beyond.
Undeniable celebrated, educated, and entertained. It attracted more than 9 million views across all platforms, was selected by YouTube Kids to be featured on its front page during Black History Month, and received a Webby Award for Animation. It also won a Silver Clio for Film and Bronze Clios for Film and Diversity in Storytelling.
